Maize Drilling Course - March 2019

Consistent seed placement at drilling is one of the most important steps down the road towards a great crop of maize. It is with top quality drilling in mind that with the help of Rod and David from Bright Seeds, the MGA are running three Maize Drilling Courses during March this year.
The three dates for this event are:
18th March at Sparsholt College in Hampshire - supported by Vaderstad
19th March at Kingston Maurward College in Dorset - supported by Amazone
27th March at Plumpton College in Sussex - supported by Vaderstad
To give approximate timings, registration will be from around 9am, followed by a lecture by Simon Draper (MGA Agronomist), and then a practical field demonstration of the drill with the opportunity to ask any questions regarding both the theory given by Simon and the practical explanation and display given afterwards. The practical display will be done using demo drills from the manufacturers above, however will be non-specific to the make of the drill so the take-home messages will remain the same, regardless of drill-manufacturer.
