On joining the MGA each new member receives a 'starter pack' which includes the MGA's Comprehensive Guide to Growing Maize together with technical articles from the past three months to bring them up to date with seasonal information and advice. This starter pack is followed by the regular mailings, which are sent to members approximately once a month. New members are also given the contact numbers of our agronomists and nutrition consultant, as well as a local MGA contact (MGA Area Co-ordinator), generally a very experienced farmer who acts as the first point of contact for members with general queries.
