Pre-Wholecrop Conference Farm Meeting

 

Wholecrop Forages at Whattall Farm

Colemere, Ellesmere, Shropshire

 

Tuesday 4th February 2003 at 1.30 p.m.

 

By courtesy of D and AC Shakeshaft you are invited to an MGA on farm meeting to view and discuss the successful feeding system operated by Andrew for his 170 cows plus followers.

 

Rations include maize and grass silages, ‘alkalage’ high DM winter wheat and winter barley whole crops and spring bean wholecrop. 

 

Come and share his experience of combinations of these forages.

Please Note

For those travelling from some distance who plan to attend the Wholecrop Conference at Harper Adams University College, Newport, Shropshire the next day, overnight accommodation, dinner and breakfast can be arranged at Lilleshall Sports and Conference Centre for £40 per person (inclusive of £5.95 VAT).

 

After dinner a discussion forum of an hour duration will focus on sharing experience in feeding combinations of forages.
